French premiere October 4, 2025 “Poem for an empty world”
I wrote it as a wish and a need to let go of the haste to let go of all the pre-fix ideas and thoughts we encounter in our daily lives. When I look at the sea, I sense that a screen will never fit our souls. Vast space can only be felt in an empty world.

According to Tsoupaki, much music is composed in the Netherlands at a very high level. She appreciates the openness and intensity of the dialogue between different “styles” and sound worlds.

“The polyphony of how we compose in the Netherlands is clearly audible in the work of my colleagues Yannis Kyriakides, Jan van de Putte, Mayke Nas, Peter Adriaansz, Aspasia Nasopoulou and Jan-Peter de Graaff.”
