Commissioned: by Het Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, Amsterdam with the financial support of FPK
Premiere: The piece with the title “Groeibriljant” was premiered in fragments as work in progress during the string quartet season concerts at the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ, from October 2012 to May 2013.
Each string quartet was performing the previous minutes plus the new that were composed specially for their concert.
The last quartet (Matanghi string quartet) premiered the completed work.
“The composition is renamed ‘Eothinon’ and it is the third part of the trilogy for string quartet and clarinet “TRIPTYCHON”
